Japan Trip day 1 : Tsukiji Market - Roppongi - Azabu Juban - Minami Aoyama - Shibuya

Assalamualaikum and hello again!

For those who actually know me, I'm sure you guys are aware that I went to Tokyo for a vacation last April. You'd probably think that for the last 4 years that I've spent studying in Japan, would there still be any parts of Tokyo that I've never been to? BINGO! Come on, I've been living in KL most of my life but believe me there are places that I know not of. Call me sucks but whatever, it felt great to be back and I will share my solo trip day by day here~

Approaching the Land of The Rising Sun!
Hello Narita! So good to be back!

I've been planning this trip with my friend who's living in Tokyo. She took care of me the whole time and I'm especially grateful for the fact that she brought me to unfamiliar places with great views and delicious food! So for a start, we've decided to meet up at Tsukiji Market for a brunch since I was soooo hungreyhhhh! let's GO GO GO!

Welcome to the world's biggest wholesale fish and seafood market!
Yeay time for some seafood skewers! SEDAP GILA BAQ HANG

Grilled Unagi (eel) is best to eat with hot puffy rice. Not recommending to eat them alone.
Maguro (Tuna) Steak and Rolled Sweet Egg Stick. MIAMM
We only spent time eating at the outside market and it was huge enough. Actually I hate going to a wet market, I don't even go to markets here in KL. Yeah. Basically it was a festival for my tummy. *fireworks* I've always loved street food and let me tell you, Tsukiji offers the freshest seafood ingredients you can ever ask for. Poor me I'm not into raw food but if you do, you'll definitely enjoy Tsukiji even more! You can access to Tsukiji Fish Market easily by Tokyo Metro, I used Oedo Subway Line and got off at Tsukiji Shijo, exit A1. More info here -- Tsukiji Fish Market

I'm sure you've heard about Roppongi before, right? Finally I went to the famous Roppongi Hills! *claps* It felt surreal to experience Roppongi myself, believe me I was walking in awe, with my mouth open the whole time. Embarrassing but hey, couldn't help it. The place was quite hilly, with pretty landscapes and art sculptures like below. My friend suggested us to go inside Mori Art Museum but it was closed during my visit. Nonetheless, I had a tremendously good time pretending to be rich, walking inside the mall and sipping latte. Phew.

Roppongi Hills Shopping and Dining
Take a rest and have a Kinako Latte inside~
So mysteriously beautiful Mori Garden
The we continue walking down the street towards Azabu Juban and Minami Aoyama. It was a long, tiring walk but worth it!

Came across a unique shop special in salt
And I got to taste a soft cream with 10 different salts! My favorite would be this wasabi flavored salt

Had to do leg split in the middle of bamboo forest. That's just how I do.

If you ever go to Japan, you don't want to know this shop. It'll suck you dry!

Le stunningly beautiful Prada Aoyama *tears of awe*
Another snack before dinner overlooking Shibuya, world's busiest intersection
After walking for quite a while (it took us about 1 1/2 hours on foot from Azabu Juban to Shibuya, I was literally zombie walking), I just need to stuff something for the lost energy! *above* Honestly I forgot the name but it's something like dorayaki but I had one with spinach and cheese inside. TO DIE FOR! Then we moved on to our dinner place, had no idea where it was but the place serves healthy authentic Japanese cuisine. All I can say is, I could see how busy Shibuya was which definitely live up to it's name. Went out and about Tokyo from early morning and out for another adventure the very next day! Stay tuned for more stories~ xoxo

That's Shibuya people. Can you feel the awesomeness?
Good food + great company + magnificent view
Seasonal fruit salad with edible flower
How can a fried fish tastes soooo good?
